An experiential an innovative art exhibit

On Saturday September 19, 2020, the CO. is hosting an exclusive Grand Reopening event limited to just 30 people across 3 hours. Over the course of 25 minutes, groups of 5 are invited to attend The CO.meback – Connect, Rise, Shine – an exploration of the current world through a lens of the arts and mental health.

Guests can expect to safely interact with artists in and outside of the space while learning more about the CO. and the new direction it will be heading in.

Six time slots will be available with a limit of 5 guests per slot to allow for social distancing while inside the building. Strict COVID regulations will be followed for this event including mandatory masks and sanitization processes.

Two time slots from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. are reserved for invited guests.

Tickets can be reserved by choosing one of the available time slots.

We recommend reserving tickets as a group of 5. Tickets are free, but a cash “pay what you can” option will be available at the door.

Please arrive 5 minutes before your time slot begins and wait in front of The Co.’s windows on Queen Street.

When you arrive, the event will begin in front of The Co. We will be there to greet you and guide you through the event.

Parking is available in the municipal parking lot at the corner of Queen Street and Lorne Ave.

All guests will be required to wear a mask while inside The Co. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the door.

Surfaces and areas involved in the event will be sanitized before each group arrives.

Elizabeth Sunnen, Creator of Freedom Collective - Creative therapies in Chatham & Sarnia

Elizabeth Downey

Elizabeth is a citizen of the world, darling. Ok, she stole that from Mariah Carey’s twitter handle. Still, EDS has lived all over and all that life experience has influenced her art. She got up-close and super excited about some Basquiats in Paris, France in November, and lost her mind looking at the gorgeous display of herbs at the supermarket just yesterday.  She lives with her children, Zadie and Milo, and her doodle, Gemma in Chatham-Kent. Come see her at her studio, AwareHouse, a space for people of all ages to practice art and mindfulness.

The Mystery Artist

Enjoy this  tantalizing and talented local artist who will encapsulate the current mood and climate of our area through their canvas.
